5 Covent Garden was originally part of grade 1 listed Oriel Chambers one of Liverpool’s architectural gems and regarded as a precursor of modern architectural movement. One of the first buildings to use an iron framework structure, its innovative design had a considerable influence on office buildings across the world, inspiring John Root's early Chicago skyscrapers and shaping the New York skyline we know today.
However the building was badly damaged during the bombing raids that hit Liverpool in the 2nd World War. 5 Covent Garden was build in the 1950’s to replace the damned end of Oriel Chambers and today the buildings sit side by side creating a harmonious contrast of period and modern architecture.
The people below are responsible for the smooth running of the building and making customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. As you can see from the testimonials throughout the site, our current customers find them invaluable.
