Bought by Bruntwood in 1983, this building was designed by the architect August Welby Northmore Pugin, who co designed St. Stephen’s Chapel at the Houses of Parliament. Originally owned by the Watts family who were Victorian textile dealers, James Watt’s was Agatha Christie brother in law; Christie wrote two of her stories at Abney Hall. The building was formerly Cheadle Town Hall where many famous dances were held. Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband, stayed here on a two day visit to Manchester.
The people below are responsible for the smooth running of the building and making customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. As you can see from the testimonials throughout the site, our current customers find them invaluable.
