Alberton House was built in Manchester on the site of the first Municipal Gas Works - the first location in the world to sell gas to the public. In the early 1990’s the IRA planted a bomb in the flowerbed at the entrance to Cardinal House, which is adjacent to Alberton House. The bomb exploded at 8.40am on a Friday morning and miraculously there were no fatalities. The force of the blast blew out all the windows in both buildings. When Alberton House was re-glazed, bombproof film was installed on each and every window. Every time a windowpane is re-glazed, film is always installed internally on the pane itself.
The people below are responsible for the smooth running of the building and making customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. As you can see from the testimonials throughout the site, our current customers find them invaluable.
