West Yorkshire Playhouse
West Yorkshire Playhouse Since opening in March 1990, West Yorkshire Playhouse has established a reputation both nationally and internationally as one of Britain's most exciting producing theatres, winning awards for everything from its productions to its customer service.
The Playhouse provides both a thriving focal point for the communities of West Yorkshire, and theatre of the highest standard for audiences throughout the region and beyond. It produces 16 of its own shows each year in its two auditoria, approximately a third of which are world or British premieres, and stages over 1000 performances, workshops, readings and community events, watched by over 250,000 people, while countless others use the building as a meeting place for business and pleasure.
Following their successful sponsorship of Hedda Gabler and Macbeth, at both the West Yorkshire and Liverpool Playhouse, Bruntwood are about to embark on their third year of sponsorship with The West Yorkshire Playhouse with their support of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which is scheduled for the end of 2007.
We have used our sponsorship of these plays to support the arts in areas where our companies do business; increasing their profile as well as providing an ideal opportunity to entertain their customers.
