Go Superlamabananas is now underway and Liverpool is awash with 119 of the bizarre and loveable creatures.. As presenting partner of the event, Bruntwood staff leant a hand preparing all the Superlambananas for their march across the city.
A superlambanana was spotted scaling Bruntwood’s The Plaza building on Old Hall Street. The creature is the first of many superlambanana’s set to appear in usual places across Liverpool this summer as part of the Go Superlambananas trail.
On Sunday 18th May, 55 Bruntwood employees joined over 28,000 runners in the Manchester Bupa 10k to raise money for The New Children’s Hospital Appeal. Bruntwood have pledged to raise £500,000 towards this chosen charity over a five year period.

As preparations begin for the start of the Go Superlambanana trail in Liverpool, Bruntwood are celebrating their sponsorship of the Capital of Culture event by giving away one mini Superlambanana every month until September.
On Saturday the 10th May, a team of cyclists from north of England property firm Bruntwood arrived in Nice, having completed the classic cycle route across France, ‘The Race To The Sun’.
Here we are on the final day, all eager to get to Nice in time to meet our sponsors and ready to enjoy a well deserved night out on the town in celebration.
We leave Nyons with three additional Riders, there’s now sixteen of us; John Bentley, Gary Bentley and Mark Dunning; the ANSA contingency having flown in the night previously.
Day 6 saw the team leaving the less than salubrious Hotel Cendrillon in Romans Sur Isere and head out on masse for the 75 mile/120 km ride to Nyons.
The day dawned and we knew Pete would be happy – the sun was already beaming brightly. After some initial conformity on routes, the day was soon totally confused when we had not 2, but 3 possible ways to reach our next high carb intake.
The day delivered, each and every rider’s first 100 mile ride (well almost...), an achievement for any cyclist, but considering the terrain and the amount of climbing involved, an even bigger achievement.
There was a slight change in the route today due to Moulins having a complicated one way system. A new route was devised and team Bruntwood hit the road. However the day did not go according to plan.
What did we let ourselves in for? Spirits are still high but everyone seems to have developed a strange walk! Another early start with an 08:30 commencment in a (failed) attempt to avoid the midday sun.
A 06:30 start saw all of the riders excited, prepping their equipment before riding into Tonnerre Town Centre to meet with the Mayor for a Civic Breakfast.
