NICE come to City Tower

Bruntwood, have instructed solicitors with The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) for 20,000 sq.ft, at their City Tower development in Manchester city centre. NICE have agreed to a 10 year deal with Bruntwood and their arrival at the building will signal yet another high profile occupier to both City Tower and the Piccadilly area.

NICE Director of Corporate Services Mark Salmon commented "We were attracted to the Bruntwood portfolio both by the quality of the space on offer, but also because of their flexible approach to meeting the occupational needs of their customers. We are looking forward to working with Bruntwood's project management team to design our permanent Manchester office."

Taking space on Manchester’s largest available floor plate, this deal leaves a further 25,000 sq.ft at first floor level, which is already receiving strong interest from several parties.

Bruntwood Development Surveyor Lee Treanor comments further, "This deal adds to the phenomenal success of City Tower, where we now only have 37,000 sq.ft of office space available within the 315,000 sq.ft scheme. We worked hard to agree a deal which suited both parties and NICE will be a great additional to City Tower’s customer profile which is made up from both the private and public sectors."

This deal comes only weeks after Bruntwood unveiled their brand new entrance scheme at City Tower, which is undergoing an £24m development programme due to complete at the end of this year.

Agents WHR & King Sturge acted on behalf of Bruntwood, with NICE being introduced to Bruntwood by MIDAS, Manchester’s investment agency.
