Power partnership continues at Booths

Alstom Power has been based at Booths Park for approx 10 years, so when it decided to half its office size you would think there would be concerns as their office supplier? Not so.

Development Surveyor Jenny Westhead commented, “Through the continual relationship with our customer and constant review of their space needs, the conclusion was made for a new deal to relocate them into the newly refurbished No.1 Booths Park, halving their space from two floors to one. By working with our team of space planners, Alstom will now have its suite re-designed more efficiently and effectively than before.”

She continues, “By assessing what our customer’s requirements are, we have delivered a solution that best suits them. Their investment in Booths Park, along with our investment redeveloping their old space, ensures the best for both Alstom and Bruntwood in the long term.”

Bruntwood are project managing this operation on behalf of Alstom, with the fit out and furniture totalling a half million pounds investment.

A further £1.6M will be spent refurbishing their previous space, which will mean an additional 28,000sqft can now be provided. This new provision will be ready for occupation by July 2007.
