In January 2008 Bruntwood worked with West Yorkshire Playhouse and the Yorkshire Evening Post to run a competition aimed at young people in the region.
Readers of the Yorkshire Evening Post aged up to 16 were invited to design a new poster for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Entrants could use whatever means they liked to design the poster, the only restrictions being that it needed to fit on an A4 piece of paper and include the Bruntwood logo.
West Yorkshire Playhouse Design Manager Neil Armstrong helped choose between the varied and creative entries to select eleven-year old Gemma Armitage as the winner. Gemma won an iPod Touch worth £250 and family tickets to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the Playhouse. Two runners-up also received family tickets to see the show.
