Bruntwood tee off on their support for Henshaws Liverpool

North of England Property Company Bruntwood, have raised over £14,000 for Henshaws society for blind people and the charities Liverpool based care centre.

The money was raised at the first ever Bruntwood Liverpool charity golf day, which was held at the prestigious Hillside Golf Club in Southport on Thursday 22nd April.

Businesses such as Mitie Engineering, Rensberg Sheppards, Davies Wallis Foyster and Halliwells submitted teams and joined Bruntwood for a day of fundraising and golf!

Tricia Stewart, director of customer service for Bruntwood in Liverpool said, “Bruntwood are committed to supporting local charities and the Liverpool team are delighted to be working with Henshaws. They’re a fantastic charity and we’ve witnessed first hand some of the beneficial work they do to support blind people throughout Merseyside”.

Tricia continued, “As well as being a great day out, our golf day was a huge success. We raised over £14,000 which sets us well on target to exceed the £20,000 we have pledged to raise Henshaws this year”.

The teams taking part braved Hillsides notorious winds and hilly terrain in a stiffly fought contest. Kimptons emerged as the victors, taking the championship title and generously donating their winning prize, tickets to the Golf open at Royal Birkdale, back to Bruntwood to be auctioned for charity.
