Work starts at No. 1 Dale Street in Liverpool

The 50,000 sq ft office building will be fully refurbished to offer a Grade A space at £16 per square ft and is due to complete in January 2009. The £2m investment by the property developer confirms recent reports that the secondary refurbished office space market is well poised to deliver value for money for Liverpool's small to medium businesses.

Bruntwood head of sales Colin Forshaw said “We’re experiencing high levels of demand at No. One Dale Street with enquires coming from customers looking for larger open plan suites all above 1,000 sq ft. Customers are looking for modern space in historic buildings with character and a city centre location. No. Dale Street can deliver on all of these and as such has proved popular."

Bruntwood’s director in Liverpool, David Guest, said: “No. One Dale Street will deliver on all the Bruntwood standards of a quality working environment and excellent customer service, helping us create long term customer relationships".

The building currently houses the Royal Bank of Scotland on the ground and 1st floor and The Alan Jonhson Partnership on the 4th.
