Queen Insurance Buildings were originally built for the Royal Bank in 1870 and were one of the earliest developments in Liverpool to include the provision of separate speculative offices to let. There’s no bank there today, but the separate offices continue to be let. A central passageway leads to Queen's Avenue, a beautiful and quaint street lined by shops and offices. What few people know is that through a little door just off the Avenue, lays an exciting underground world. Brick arch after brick arch stretch away underground for what seems like miles. At one time this underground labyrinth linked the city to Liverpool's famous docks, and during the war this underground den was used as a shelter from the bombing raids that struck the city.
The people below are responsible for the smooth running of the building and making customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. As you can see from the testimonials throughout the site, our current customers find them invaluable.
